Tomorrow at 2pm EST is our 17th home opener. The Portland Timbers are paying us a visit (their only one this season, unless we face them in the playoffs). Portland is coming off a 3-0 win at home against AC St.Louis this past Thursday. The Timbers have played well in Montreal. They’re 4-1-1 at Complexe Sportif Claude-Robillard and Stade Saputo. We need to play well. Momentum is the key, because a good result tomorrow will help us with what is clearly a more important match next Wednesday against Toronto FC in the Nutrilite Canadian Championship.

Until then, tomorrow’s game should see Striker Reda Agrourram make his first home appearance with the club. After scoring the lone goal against Antigua-and-Barbuda’s Barracuda FC in a friendly last week, head coach Marc Dos Santos gave him the nod to start, alongside Antiguan Peter Byers.

The team will play in a 4-4-2 diamond formation, with David Testo, Philippe Billy and Felipe Soares as probable starters.

In other news, 15 000 tickets were sold in one day for the AC Milan match on June 2. Not bad, I’d say. However, only 5 000 tickets were sold in one week for the Fiorentina to be held on May 23.
